Welcome to the home of Creigiau Recreation Ground
Our recreation field lies just to the east of the village, it's approximately 15 acres of ground surrounded by trees. It's used for sporting and leisure pursuits including cricket, football, archery, tennis and boules. We also have a skateboard park and children's play area.
The pavillion has two changing rooms, a small kitchen and meeting room. It was completed in 1981 by Taff Ely Council after continual pressure from a village club 'Creigiau 23' and local residents keen on making use of the field for sporting events.
It is a lovely area which is ideal for excercise, dog walking or simply enjoying a quiet few minutes taking in the scenery on one of the benches we provide.
The field is managed by the Creigiau Recreation Area Management Committee (CRAMC) which is made up of members of the sporting clubs and a few volunteers, while Pentyrch Community Council are the ground owners.
Please contact us for any enquiries on using the area for an event or for any further information about our field.
